Running shoes are sturdy sensitive soul. If you know what to consider when purchasing them and how to deal with them then, people will have long delight with it:
• Walk only with running shoes, which fit a 100%.
Beginners need professional or just boots – without compromise.
• Buy your running shoes from a specialist and not in the fashion department. For example: People who bend inward, always need a supporting action. And that can only be judged by an expert in treadmill analysis.
• There is a simple rule of thumb for the size: The running shoe should sit like that on the front foot, there´s an inch square place. For longer runs even more.
• It is said that for every 20 km running distance accomplished during a week, a pair of running shoes is needed. Who runs 60 kilometers a week, needs therefore three pairs of shoes, that can easily be worn alternately.
The running shoe models should differ, because the impact then varies.
• There´s no other way than using the right running socks.
• Heavily used running shoes have become obsolete and should be disposed. Ask the expert, if your running shoes are already too much used.
• Running shoes can be, but must not be put into the washing machine.
A wash cycle often but not always works. There is no guarantee for that.
• Wet shoes should not be dried with the hair dryer or on the heater, but
on the air. Newspaper in the shoe speeds up the drying process. Shoe trees should not be used in running shoes, because they deform the shoe.
• Stay away if there is something to repair. This should be left for the expert, because repairs are difficult.
• Persons with a weak arch need perfectly fitting arch supports.
